belonging when everyone's different

I guess I feel like I fit in more where there's more variety in the rest of the people there.
there's a meetup group where a variety of artists come together- in some ways I feel more socially awkward than many other members, like I don't have as much to say, but the art is so varied my art feels
like it fits in well enough
I don't feel like I stand out among fanfiction writers? Because there's all sorts doing all sorts of things there, including people who have similar interests or disinterests. So that makes me feel some sense of belonging.
